About Challenge Photos

Each month, we encourage our MAPS photographer members to submit photos that represent a specific "challenge" theme. These themes often align with the educational topics discussed in our monthly meetings.  Participants are encouraged to submit up to five images via email before the next upcoming meeting.

The "challenge" offers a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in unique experiences, moments, and a wonderful opportunity to keep testing your abilities with your camera! It's also a wonderful opportunity at the MAPS meeting to share and tell about the story behind your photos, why they're important to you, and the techniques on how you photographed or edited them. So, what are you waiting for? Come join the fun!

Here are a few image examples of member-submitted challenge photos from the past. Want to see more? Use the above grey main menu button About Challenge Photos located at the top of the page. Hover over that link and the drop down menu will give you the monthly lists of current photos to view.
